Electrostatic Painters in Russell

Russell is a quiet village on the Castor River, about 35 km southeast of Ottawa, with a walking trail along the old rail bed and a small core of shops, churches and municipal buildings. New neighbourhoods have spread out from the village in recent decades, and farmland surrounds all of it. Houses here commonly have steel front doors, porch railings, metal light fixtures and garage doors, plus the appliances in kitchens and laundry rooms, which can be refinished too. The schools, the arena and the township buildings add banks of lockers, steel classroom doors, handrails in stairwells and metal benches outdoors.

Ontario weather sets the calendar for exterior jobs in a place like this, because coatings need warm, dry metal to cure. Railings, doors and fixtures outside are best done from about May to early October, while lockers, interior doors and appliances can be scheduled all year. School work fits naturally into July and August, when hallways are empty and the building can be ventilated without disturbing anyone. For homes, we cover floors, counters and hardware before starting, and agree on a timeline so you know when a room is back in use.

Getting to Russell

We reach Russell through Highway 417 and Russell Road, and we try to pair a visit with nearby work in Embrun or the east end of Ottawa.

Questions from Russell

Can school lockers be painted during the summer break?
Summer is the ideal window. We work hallway by hallway, mask the floors and walls, and leave time for the coating to cure before custodial staff need the space for their own cleaning. Planning with the board early in spring helps lock in the dates.
Can a porch railing be painted in the middle of winter?
Not outdoors. The coating needs the steel to be warm and dry to cure, so exterior railings are booked for the warmer months. If a railing is removable, it can be brought into a heated garage and done then.
Can you change the colour of a fridge or a range?
The outside panels of fridges, dishwashers and ranges can be repainted, which is a good way to bring an older working appliance in line with a new kitchen. We do not paint cooktops, oven interiors or anything that touches food. The appliance is cleaned and masked in place, and you need to leave the fridge door closed while it cures.
